The Canon cameras company was born in 1937, in Japan. Within a very short period of time, Canon has expanded its activities worldwide with sales offices, research & development centers and production sites which are now located around the world. Over time, Canon has successfully diversified its products and added to its traditional range of equipment others such as photocopiers, multifunction printers, and other multimedia products.
Nowadays, Canon Group has more than 270 subsidiaries which gather over 200 000 employees.
In Europe, the Headquarters is located in London. There are 27 marketing subsidiaries, with one in Paris (Canon France).
