In 2003, Canon Bretagne celebrated its 20 years of existence in a strong globalisation context in which low value-added services (office equipment) are now carried out in Asian facilities (China, Thailand,...). On top of the Cartridge activity, Canon Bretagne goes with a two-pronged approach which requires both development and adaptability.
By creating a "New Business" department, in 2001 Canon Bretagne decided to create new services for the Canon Group but also for partners outside the Group. The company widens its scope by making its expertise available to companies willing to outsource their production in order to focus their activities on research, development and marketing.
